Let's hope Moore's made-to-measure cast-offs fit Kevin!

Australian actor Kevin Colson is literally stepping into Roger Moore's shoes, as the former James Bond star's replacement in Aspects of Love.

There's so little time before the musical begins previews that Colson will wear the suits, shoes and wigs already designed and made for Moore. They will be adjusted, but there isn't time for a new set.

Sense

Colson, who has been with Chess since it opened three years ago, has been allowed to leave it early, to work with Trevor Nunn and Andrew Lloyd Webber on Aspects.

It couldn't have been easy for Moore to quit Aspects when he did. I think it was not a question of vanity, more one of common sense - and it required a lot of guts.
